About Mr. Arthur Wolk
Lawyer Arthur Wolk has gone to extraordinary lengths to represent his clients against multinational airplane manufacturers and technology corporations. An expert in aviation principles, Arthur Wolk has won close to $1 billion in verdicts and settlements during the last ten years alone.
In the early nineties, Arthur Wolk tracked down a rare Boeing 737 power control unit in the case of Bodnar v. The Boeing Company. Sending out a request for the piece through his worldwide network, Arthur Wolk eventually found the airplane part in Peru, paying $70,000 to bring the item home. After engaging the help of a scientist to test the rudder portion, Arthur Wolk and his lawyers at The Wolk Law Firm were able to settle the claim, as well as a subsequent lawsuit with The Boeing Company involving the same section of the 737 for an undisclosed amount. In 2001, Arthur Wolk reached a multimillion dollar settlement in the death of a pilot of a Piper Seneca. Using his advanced knowledge of flying airliners in freezing conditions, Arthur Wolk was able to prove small accumulations of ice on the Seneca’s tail caused dangerous vibrations leading to the break-up of the plane.
Over the years, Arthur Wolk’s familiarity with aircraft systems and his experience flying in less-than-ideal circumstances have helped him win a number of groundbreaking trials. In the 2002 suit Taylor v. Teledyne, Arthur Wolk was successfully able to prove engines overhauled by Teledyne Technologies, Inc. led to the death of two pilots. In a different indictment, Arthur Wolk settled a multimillion dollar dispute for the family of a plane crash victim when he showed that a flawed stabilator brought down a Piper Seneca during a medical transportation flight.
